Publication Opportunity: All presenters are encouraged to submit their manuscripts for consideration in a Special Issue of the Journal of Applied Phycology. All submitted manuscripts will undergo the journal’s standard peer-review process, and acceptance for publication will be based on the reviewers’ recommendations and the journal’s editorial policies.

APPF 2027 Program Structure

• Monday, May 10, 2027: Arrival & Welcome

  • Participants arrive at the conference venue.

  • 2 pm onwards: Onsite registration and check-in open.

  • 6-8 pm: Welcome Reception—an opportunity for early networking and greeting fellow delegates.

• Tuesday – Thursday, May 11–13, 2027: Core Scientific Program

  • Three full working days featuring a rich academic schedule.

  • Each day begins with a Plenary Lecture, followed by Mini-Symposia, Concurrent Sessions, and/or Poster Sessions.

  • Note: The Gala Dinner will take place on the evening of the second conference day (Wednesday, May 12, 2027).

• Friday, May 14, 2027: Post-Conference Activities

  • Optional technical and cultural field trips.
